Virtual Environments
Promote real time engagement between team members in online or hybrid meetings.
Why does your institution need a virtual environment ?
Because Video conferences feel like talking to a screen, not a person.
A true virtual environment is much more interactive and immersive than a software-only system such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. In a virtual environment, participants have face-to-face interactions with the presenters. Our displays have cameras and speakers that tie directly to the virtual participant so that when the presenter looks and speaks to them, they are looked at and spoken to directly.
Virtual environments can be leveraged to enable teamwork and communication among employees when meeting face-to-face is not possible or convenient. Our systems can be used for both fully virtual and hybrid experiences. Virtual environments are perfect for nearly industries, but typically we tailor our solutions to corporate, healthcare, and education institutions.
Education
Covid-19 has pushed the education industry to rapidly adapt to an online learning environment. Many students and educators are finding that remote interface offers certain new flexibilities such as increased class time and freedom to participate in class from any geographic location. Despite these benefits, the interaction that is possible with software-only systems does not offer a complete learning experience.
Applied Graphix offers a unique combination of software and hardware to solve this problem. In our virtual classrooms, the presentation arena is fitted with whiteboards, cameras, and microphones so that virtual participants can choose different viewpoints. The whiteboard is completely collaborative, notes can be put directly onto the presentation material and then distributed when class is over.
Corporate
Over the past few decades, workforces have become increasingly decentralized. Advancements in communication technology have allowed even small firms to reap the benefits of geographically diverse teams and decentralization. Covid-19 has catalyzed decentralization even further. Many companies are finding that distributed workforces are safer, more effective, and less expensive terms of real estate and the accompanying infrastructure than traditional, centralized staffs.
In this new business landscape, corporate teams are looking for a way to focus and collaborate effectively, without meeting face-to-face. Applied Graphix designs, build and installs systems that facilitate corporate meetings, whether they rely on a presentation or a collaborative project. Information can be presented on the whiteboard and augmented with comments from the presenter and participants. Then at the end of the meeting copies of the presentation with notes can be distributed to all.
Healthcare
The Healthcare industry has specific needs for education, patient meetings and management teams.
Meetings between patients and physicians are now often done remotely. Using the Applied Graphix hardware and software solution, the patient has a better audio / video connection with the physician. If the physician needs to bring in specialist or other teammates, it can be done securely and easily.
Health care organizations are often comprised of multiple facilities that are managed by a single management team. Senior management teams may be centralized but need to work closely with the teams that run the various facilities. Virtual meetings are an ideal way to keep teams working together effectively.
Medical training rooms can be set up with cameras that are target specific training. These learning environments can be completely virtual, or hybrid with some participants on site and some not. The Applied Graphix hardware and software solutions can connect groups, effectively disseminate information, and foster conversations so that health care is better for the patient and more cost-effective for the healthcare organization.
